Spain Tourism Website

Espana – Spain’s Official Tourism Portal

This website is modestly successful at conveying ideas for travel to Spain, but there is the distressing use of home page space for a booking engine for airlines.  So it’s not clear if this is a tourism promotion website or a vehicle for generating revenue through airline ticket sales.   Just to be sure, perhaps you would be better off consulting a Spain Custom Travel Planner from the list above.

From the website (note – NOT on the homepage, but buried in the menu under “what are you looking for”, “themed travel”):

“Tourism to suit all tastes – that’s what we offer you here. Maybe you’re coming to Spain with your kids and you’d like to take them to an amusement park. Or perhaps you’d love to give your partner a romantic surprise. Or are you more interested in religious tourism? Are you a film buff, a birdwatcher, or an agrotourism enthusiast…? Or do you really want to indulge yourself with a luxury getaway? We have the perfect suggestion for you.”
